Target Headphone Return Policy In 2022 (Your Full Guide)
Target sells a variety of headphones at reasonable prices both in-store and online including wireless earbuds, gaming headsets, workout headphones, and much more.
Target accepts returns of headphones within 30 days of purchase or delivery with all original packaging and accessories as of 2022, offering a full refund if the receipt is provided. Apple headphones cannot be returned for more than 15 days, while Heyday headphones may only be returned for one year.
Are Headphones Returnable to Target?
Target usually allows headphones to be returned without receipt if the buyer can provide proof of purchase.
Luckily, Target cashiers can help verify your transaction, but you must make sure to bring a government-issued photo ID.
Target will track headphones you purchased in-store by using your Target RedCard and any third-party credit/debit cards including Visa, MasterCard Discover, American Express, Visa Mastercard, Discover or Discover.
Target.com will automatically register online purchases in your personal purchase history.
Check purchases are also possible if your checkbook is available. If the gift card was actually given, gift cards may be located easily.
If Target is able to verify your purchase, you will receive a full refund or exchange for the headphones.
Target will however issue store credit to you in the form, in effect, of a product card, equal to the price of your headphones.
Can I Return Used Or Open Headphones?
Target has a standard return policy that covers headphone purchases. All products must be returned to the store in their original condition.
However, customers (on online forums) have reported successful returns with an open box provided all original features are included and the original receipt is provided.
Target’s private label Heyday headphones can be returned within the 1-year warranty period, regardless of whether they have been damaged or broken.
If you received damaged or broken headphones, you may request a replacement by calling Guest Services at 1-800-440-0680, free of additional charges.
Final decision will be made by the manager of the store about whether or not to return opened headphones.
