DCC 3200 Performance & Functionality
First of all, let’s look at the immediate question; how does it feel to use the brewing system itself? In our tests, the DCC-3200 proved to be one of the easiest, most intuitive drip coffee makers we’ve used over the years. Nowadays, it seems like just about anybody can make an easy-to-use computer, but a few of the little touches that Cuisinart has placed into this bad boy really help to distinguish him from the flock. For example, the completely automated brewing process was so hands-off that we verbally caught ourselves asking, “Is that it? ”. On your first run-through with the unit, simply load your ground coffee in, pick the number of cups you want (from 1-4) and choose whether you want a normal toast or a bolder one. It takes less than 30 seconds to start brewing, once you’ve done it a couple of times.

The Cuisinart DCC-3200 introduces some of the company’s iconic style patterns. From the elegant stainless steel used on the handle and the main body to the high-quality glass carafe that fits snugly into the base of the product. The overall style exudes the streamlined, no-frills attitude that we’ve come to appreciate for many of the company’s best items. If you’re looking for an eye-catching conversation-starter, this may not fit the bill. The understated style is likely to disappear into the background of your kitchen, but if you’re looking for something with some subdued elegance, the DCC-3200 is a solid choice.

Cuisinart DCC 3200 Coffee Maker Review
With its completely programmable features, you can programme the Cuisinart 14-Cup Glass Carafe Programmable Coffee Maker, which takes up very little space even in a small kitchen, with 24-hour lead time making it seamless to wake up to the delicious aroma of brewed coffee. Additional feature: You can set the Auto-Off button to turn the coffee maker off immediately or up to four hours after the brewing cycle is done. We set the coffee maker to be brewed automatically in the morning and used the “Ready Tone” feature, which causes the machine to beep five times, to let us know when we should pour our first cup. The warning was one of our favourite features of the machine. Plus, the instruction booklet sets out each move to set the timer (and use all the features) so that we didn’t have any trouble there. 14 Cup Progammable…
Known for the looks of the coffee machines you see in the coffee shops, the DCC 3200 coffee maker offers you the best coffee experience. It comes with a few handy features to let you brew your coffee according to your tastes!
To Sum It Up
Effective, long-lasting and modern. The three best words for the Cuisinart DCC 3200 Perfectemp Coffee Maker. Below are a few other aspects to summarise the whole analysis for our busy bees!
Tastes like plastic on the first use:
Even though the carafe is made of glass, the coffee gives off a faint plastic smell and taste in the first two or three cups. This was a real problem when I was sipping my first cup, but it shouldn’t have been your issue because you know this con. What I would say is to let it wash absolutely for the first few attempts. Brew some filtered water with the Cuisinart 3200 and you should be perfect when your lips meet the coffee for the first time!
24 Hours Programmable Feature:
Being the person who hates waking up in the morning, getting a preset programme was of the utmost importance to me. You can easily use the Min button on the top to set the desired hour of coffee making, and the Cuisinart DC3200 will do it for you. In addition, this feature is perfect if you want to relax or take part in other activities while your coffee is brewing. Fix your favourite temperature, switch on the self-programmable timer, and get all the other work done to get a hot cup of coffee ready for you!
Add Extra Water
When I use the 1-4 cups option, I still end up with a coffee that’s slightly bolder than what I’m going to be. That’s when I realised that you need to add a cup of extra water for four cups. What Cuisinart 3200 does is make three cups of coffee when you pour four cups of water. Ergo, it gives you a better brew than you expected if you don’t add an extra cup of liquid.
Maintaining & Cleaning Tips for a Cuisinart Coffee Maker
The DCC-3200 Cuisinart is a secure dishwasher when put in the top rack. If you don’t want to do that, you can always use the self-cleaning option on it. I’ve already told you how easy it is to clean up, and here are the steps you’ve promised. Before we start, the LED light comes on when the machine needs to be washed, but you don’t have to wait for that. After every two uses, you should trust your instinct and clean it.
Fill the carafe with water until two-thirds of the way is full.
Pour in white vinegar to fill the container.
Take out the holder of the filter.
Connect the mixture of water and vinegar to the water tank.
Put the container back in place.
Click the cleaning button before the red light is switched on.
Once the mixture is out of the carafe, drain it.
It’s fully refilled with cold water.
Place it back in its role and run another period of self-cleaning. Enjoy the next cup of coffee with the same taste as before! Note that I didn’t mention cleaning the gold-tone filter, and that’s because it’s supposed to remain in place until your computer dies out. Even so, every one or two months, you should give it a rinse to be on the safe side. Note that maintenance is important if you want to have the same taste of delicious coffee every time. If the interior is not squeaky clean, it can alter the taste of your drinks.
What Is The Difference Between DCC3200 And DCC1200?
The only common feature between the Cuisinart DCC-3200 and the DCC-1200 is the very similar presentation of the two. Other than that, there are minor differences in every other sector.
To start with, the coffee coming out of the DCC-3200 is filled with more flavours than the 1200. I assume this is due to the more advanced brewing technology that comes with the 3200. I can’t complain, whatever the reason is!
In addition, the 3200 Pertectemp Coffee Maker rises to a far higher temperature than the 1200. It also accommodates 14 cups of coffee as compared to 12 cups of the Cuisinart DCC-1200 Brew Central With Cuisinart 1200, most people talked about overflowing coffee grounds. It was possibly due to the use of the filter power, but in any case, the 3200 has no such problem.
For me, the 3200 controls are much easier to see and read. If you look at the Cuisinart DCC-1200, the buttons are all strangely positioned all over the front. Albeit, this is just a personal opinion from someone who loves organised buttons!
