Distribution heat poor on electric ranges
Handles come riveted. This makes it harder to clean
The Zwilling Motion Ultra-Durable Nonstick line is made of dishwasher safe hard-anodized aluminum with a nonstick coating. It was easy to clean the exterior, and it was safe enough to be used with potholders. We found the cookware to heat evenly when using a gas oven, but less effective at slowing down and browning meat.
How They Tested It: Our Kitchen Appliances & Technology Lab tried 72 types of cookware. The heat distribution of skillets on electric and gas ranges was examined, as well as how they cooked steaks. Also, we looked into how saucepans kept a simmering temperature and did not scorch sauce. Nonstick cookware was tested for how easily they could release eggs or pancakes and how cleanable. Also, we evaluated the ease of all cookware, such as whether they were safe to heat or if each one is dishwasher- and oven-safe.
